Question: Does my child have to attend Kindergarten?
Answer:
The two-year Kindergarten program is optional. Students must start school in the year they turn age 6. They can however start in the first year or the second year of Kindergarten. You decide what is best for your child.

Question: Does Sir Winston Churchill Public School offer an English and an Early French Immersion Program?
Answer: SWC is an Early French Immersion centre. We have a bilingual Kindergarten program - 50% English and 50% French. The program provides all students with the opportunity to develop skill in English and French. In grade 1, students receive 80 percent of instruction in French. In grades 2-6, students receive 60 percent of instruction in French.
